Great place to escape to. We were in the Old Mexico room. Very spacious and nice. The building is styled like an old hacienda with a nice open courtyard in the middle. We also did a stargazing during our visit. They have some very nice telescopes with an expert taking on a tour of the night sky.

Cat Mountain Lodge and Roadside Inn is located perfectly for any traveler's visit to the Arizona Desert and Botanical Museum as well as the Sonoran Desert National Park. We had a two room suite and enjoyed the peaceful courtyard, lounge stocked with a coffee pot, tea pot and micro. We met with Deb at check in and did not see anyone again except new friends we made exploring the naturalized areas surrounding the Inn. We were there for Valentines Day weekend. Anyone visiting should arrange for the Spencer's Observatory as the night sky is amazing! Update: received the most amazing hand written thank you card today from Cat Mountain.

We just returned from a three night stay at The Cat Mountain Lodge. Rooms were spacious and clean. Courtyard was beautiful. Cable lights were not working in courtyard at night, a little dark. I would suggest you bring your own shampoo and soap. You are adjacent to park, lots of great hiking. The nature museum and observatory are near by. Cafe Coyote Pause was great! There is a Buffalo Exchange across the street, highly recommend you stop by!! Kathleen was an amazing host and service was great. She was very helpful to us with local history and suggestions. Wifi was good, fridge, microwave and all common areas were very neat and clean. Would definitely stay again.

The ideal hotel feels homey, comfortable and like you're valued there. This is exactly the experience we had while staying here for 3 nights. Stayed in the Davy Crockett room and loved its charm and characteristic decorations. We felt like we were home with the private patio entrance and updated bathroom. The communal kitchen, sitting and garden areas are meticulously maintained. The gardener took such good care of the outside, she was even whistling while watering the plants! Gloria was a sweetheart and often checked on us when she saw us in the hall. Parking is great too. Truly loved staying here during our getaway to the desert.

What a great place to stay! We loved our Old Mexico room... very spacious, comfortable, with interesting lovely furnishings. The interior courtyard is so inviting and the surrounding gardens are beautiful. I loved the murals and statuary. Breakfast at the Coyote Pause Café is included... that too was perfect. I highly recommend staying this b&b if you are visiting the area!

Wow! We just stayed here for three nights and it’s one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. Great location for visiting Saguaro National Park! The grounds are lovely, desert landscaping; fresh water for birds and wildlife. The rooms are extremely clean and uniquely beautiful. The staff is amazing, and the food at Coyote Pause is great, especially the prickly pear slaw! All around a happy and appealing experience!
